Bariatrix Nutrition has introduced three new flavors to their line of protein bars, as part of their new “Proti-Choice” line of products.  These new products are designed to make dieting with us a little easier on your budget.  These bars are less expensive than the existing line of Proti-Bars, yet have the same high-quality taste you’d expect from Bariatrix Nutrition.   We received samples of these this week to taste test.

The first ones we tried were the new Chocolate Crisp bars.  These bars are a soy crisp bar with both the crisps and the icing chocolate flavored.    Julia, Kristy and I all liked them.

The next ones we tried were the Blueberry Pomegranite Crisp bars.   They have a nice fruity taste, which is a nice change of pace from the usual crispy protein bar flavors.  Julia, Kristy and I enjoyed these as well, as did one of our patients who was in the office when we opened the box, and bought a box to take home on the spot!

Last but not least, are the new Peanut Crunch bars.  These have a great peanuty / peanut buttery taste in a crispy soy bar.  We think these will be a hit as well.

All three flavors are 130 calories per bar,  and the same 15 grams of protein per bar as their other protein bar products.
