In January we started adding new laboratory services, so that we can better serve our patients.
For most routine labwork, you can now have your blood drawn and review the results with the doctor the same day! Routine visits for adjustment of your cholesterol medications or Coumadin will now be much easier, eliminating extra stops at the lab or trips to the “Lipid Clinic” or “Coumadin Clinic”.
We’re now able to offer in our in-house lab:
- Routine Chemistry Tests (Liver and Kidney Tests, “Metabolic Panels”)
- Glucose Testing
- Lipid Profiles / Cholesterol Testing
- Hemoglobin A1C Testing for Diabetes
- PT/INR Testing (“Coumadin Level” test)
- Testing for Mononucleosis (“Mono-Spot” test)
- Urinalysis
- Urine Cultures
- Pregnancy Testing
- “Strep” Testing
